I see it all the time, where the girl believes that maybe HE is the one. Or sometimes HE believes she's the one.
Sometimes a guy is using a girl or maybe even a girl is using a guy for something other than love. Maybe to seem like a cooler person, to get attention, maybe just to be sexually active, because I've seen it. I'm not saying not to date as a teenager but, there's plenty of other things to explore in this world than having a boyfriend/girlfriend at our age. Because everyone changes once they go through that phase. They forget about their friends and family and are basically BLINDED by love that might not exist. I've seen so many different cases about wasting your teenage years on teenage love.
One I'd like to use is becoming pregnant or a parent at a young age. I have friends who have become pregnant or parents and that's basically when your teenage years end. Your relationship changes, there's tension and It's not your life anymore it becomes that CHILDS life. As teens we really can't make a commitment.. Sometimes we can't find love from our family, friends, parents so we think we could find it in a relationship. Being a teen is all about discovering new things and being curious but curiosity killed the cat, curiosity can lead into dangerous situations.
Teen love is overwhelming, intense and a little frightening, not only for the teens involved in it but also for their parents and friends. Teenage love can be a positive and desirable experience. It offers the opportunity to learn relationship skills that are necessary later in life. Some teens even grow up together, marry and remain together for life. However, teens in love are also likely to engage in risky behaviors and test limits set by adults. Teenagers who have fallen in love need both support and firm guidance from their friends and family.
But i'll just end with this.
